Midmark Corporation, a supplier of quality healthcare products including power and manual examination tables, autoclaves and sterilizers, casework, lighting, seating, electrocardiograms and dental operatories, has purchased a minority stake in Janak Healthcare, a Mumbai-based medical equipment manufacturer.
Janek Healthcare, established in 1951, is a leading manufacturer of hospital beds and medical furniture, such as examination tables used by doctors and veterinarians, and sterilizers used in dentists’ offices.
This purchase is Midmark’s first global partnership of the kind. Janek Healthcare plans to utilize these funds to extend its current product line. Both Midmark and Janak are national, family-owned corporations that manufacture products for the medical furniture market segment.
