One of DRE’s own is on a mission to beat cancer and you can help. Pam Cook has been cancer-free for six months and is nominated to take part in the Kentucky Oaks 140 Survivors Parade on May 2. Of the hundreds of courageous women nominated to participate in the Survivors Parade, Pam has to win enough votes to join 140 cancer survivors who will walk the track on Oaks Day — and she needs your help.

Biomedical engineers, metrologists, clinical engineers and other medical personnel from across the state of Kentucky gathered in Louisville Thursday, Feb. 13, for the quarterly meeting of the Kentucky Association of Medical Instrumentation. DRE is a proud corporate member of KAMI, whose membership includes biomeds from Norton Healthcare, Kentucky One Health and many other care facilities around the state.

DRE has been professionally refurbishing operating room equipment for 30 years. In a time where health spending is stagnating, medical practitioners and health care professionals are still expected to maintain business as usual. This demand for the same degree of service, despite tightening purse strings, makes the case for the continuing growth of the refurbished medical equipment market.

Lauren Trotter, a DRE Medical equipment specialist, will be showcasing the DRE Echo CO2 Capnograph Monitor, the DRE VSO2 Anesthesia Machine and the DRE Waveline EZ Portable Patient Monitor at ADSA Feb. 14-15.
