The increasing number of obese Americans has spurred a need for heavier-duty medical equipment, including larger exam tables and beds, wider wheelchairs and sturdier walkers.
Surgical tables and medical scales once were built to accommodate no more than 350 pounds. But it is now easy to get equipment that can handle 550 pounds or much more, preserving patient dignity while providing access to needed medical procedures.

The general-purpose table with removable back and leg sections allows for excellent upper and lower body imaging, and capabilities for urology, arthroscopy, bariatric and more. The table features 1,000-pound lift and 600-pound articulation capacity.
